Well after 12 months contemplating if I wanted a blade or one of the 'bigger better more aggressive' superbikes out there I decided to go purely on the fact I love the look of the blade and without even test riding found and bought one at last! And now I've test rode it can honestly say I am so glad I did. Not got any mods planned except maybe a hugger for now, but the rest will wait till winter! Well happy with it, still can't believe how many reviews refer to them as slow and forgettable! I love it and cannot wait to get some serious miles in through summer. Got a few little bits and bobs to ask but thought I'd introduce myself first! It's got the usual tail tidy, levers, yoshi can and paint job. Other than that all standard as far as I know. Don't suppose any one would know the paint codes for these would they? Seems be the biggest guarded secret in the world of Google!
Welcome to the forum and good choice of bike and colours! Paint codes can be hard to find out as some of the TT paint jobs were honda's own and other could be what dealers have done
Cheers, that's what I keep finding, gonna have ring bikepaints where it was done I think see if they can give any advice, was done from new so not sure as they'll have saved any details or not. Never even looked at this scheme till this one popped up feel in love the minute I saw it
Cheers everyone, looking forward to getting into the depths of the site looking at ideas of what to do next! Keep looking at bazzaz for one of the main mods through winter but I like the fact it hasn't got any rider aids on it at all (didn't even want abs) so not sure as I want to start adding them, or whether to just buy a stand alone quick shifter. Want a phone holder but other than that nothing jumps out as needing to be done.
I'll be trying my best! Only had 600s before, so gotta get used to being a bit nicer to the throttle on corner exits. Other than that was quite shocked how comfortable I got on it in a matter of a few miles. Be nice to get out when the roads have dried fully and the grit has gone to have a bit more faith in the road
Cheers, was only 40ish quid off ebay, there's a few places do them. Rubber backed too so if ever anything leaks is shouldn't ruin the floor under it
Cheers, is it the superlite one you've got? Been looking at them as they look easy to fit and had a fair few good reviews. Told myself it's not having anything until winter but might have treat it to one when it goes in for mot in August if it passes
