    Morning from hell for me!
I found out the hard way that bikes have real trouble staying upright on the country bends when its icy/frosty!
despite traveling nice and smooth and slower than a pregnant snail, the back end just slid away.
Luckily oncoming car stopped and Ive only taken a beating to my right knee, but the ol repsol is well scrapped up!
lucky I suppose as its only engine cover and right hand panel fucked and a exhaust cover donated at back.
But gonna be a while (specially with chrimbo) before she looks pretty again.
be careful out there if you are riding still.
    :(

Glad your relatively Ok mate, the bike will fix thankfully. Last time I slipped on ice I was actually pushing a bike and ended up underneath and couldn't get up until someone walked past and helped me. Felt a right di*k.

Hope your ok mate, seriously get your knee check out as as when I had my accident they were more worried about my knee and shoulder they missed a break in my fibula, only found out a week later when went back and they X-Ray my knee again but slightly lower down, which I had been walking round on all week

Wish you well Zipster....surprisingly slippy the last couple of mornings and I'm on 2 feet let alone 2 wheels.

Hope the bike is back and gleaming before too long but least you're relatively OK

Sorry to hear it dude. I would say that if you're going to ride through winter then get a hack, but it's a bit late now.
    Hope you're ok

sorry to hear this matey, I sympathise, same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Looks like you got off fairly lightly, although I know how painful it is to see your bike scraped up. Hope you sort it quickly.
