Well after 20 months off a bike I finally bought one last Thursday. A Honda Fireblade CBR1000RR-9 in HRC colours. DazNorthwest put me in touch with Lee from Regal Superbikes. I arrived around 1pm at Lee's shop, the bike was sitting outside simmering in the sun and it looked fookin sweet. Checking the bike over I realised it was a minter, immaculate all round and with a full service history. After a chat and a decent homemade brew I signed the paperwork and off i went. Nervously i set off and managed to get her round the corner and down the road into a fuel station without falling off again ;) I brimmed the tank and just before i set off Lee turned up and handed me my Tax disc and MOT cert lol What a guy, and what a service. Seriously if you're in the market for a new bike then have a look at his ebay shop Regal Superbikes.

I've only done about 300 miles since I got her but already thinking of a few things to add. First thing is probably a GIpro. Was so used to having one on the GSXR and a couple of times I found myself trying to change up a gear whilst being in sixth cruising along the M74 :D

The standard rearsets are a little low for my liking, only by about an inch and maybe a little bit too far forward. So on the hunt for a decent set of rearsets, so am open to some ideas on whats hot and whats not.

The exhaust is next on the list as it sounds mince compared to my GSXR with twin Arrows and not Cat. Am thinking Austin Racing as they are reasonable in price and look mint.

Last thing would be a double bubble but not sure which one Zero Gravity, Puig, Honda, MRA, Airblade or Skidmarkz

Anyway here's to more happy miles on the blade, praying for a decent summer now :D:D
