First gear

    Hi all, me new here and have cbr 1000rr 2013

    When I select first gear it go in with a big clunk is this normal.


    Hope you can help me.

    Some times goes in smooth, and some times a big clunk , is there something wrong, I do pull clutch all the way in.

    It depends on how warm the bike is and if its still on its 'warm up revs' Also make sure your chain isn't too tight as this can cause issues with the gearbox apparently - someone with more tech knowledge will be along soon to explain properly! Just enjoy the blade mate :)

    Mine does it to, but less soo after a few miles and everything has a chance to warm up, so pit it back of ya mind dude :)

    +1 on my rr7. In fact I think all my bikes have been same until they're up to temperature.
