Shameful I know, but with the house move án all I decided to down tools and take a break from all the DIY by heading out for my first ride this year (not counting the MOT run and moving the bike to its new home). Took a lovely 5 hour ride around the Pennines through Bakewell, Buxton, Whaley Bridge and a stop off at SMC in Sheffield for burger & a brew before heading home cross country through Rotherham, Doncaster, Bawtry & Gainsborough. Was a great route and not too many showers today. Gave me a good opportunity to blow the cobwebs away and get back up to speed.
