You got that right, lads. I was pussy-footing around because the roads were really greasy (span the rear wheel up at one point :D) but the shove was something else. I wish I'd had a microphone in my lid at one point because I'm fairly sure that I was making a noise like a demented Sea Lion on account of the enjoyment.

Really impressed with it. REALLY impressed. It does everything with such aplomb. The suspension on my R6 worked really well on ironing board smooth roads but on rougher roads it felt like it was bucking and chopping about when you were pressing on. The Blade just feels like it's soaking the bumps up much better but without feeling soft and squidgy, if you know what I mean. The tyres just feel like they're in contact with the road much more of the time. It's definitely the engine that's left the biggest impression though. The power is so much more sudden. Obviously the R6 had to be wrung out a bit in order to really get into the power band proper but the Blade has it from just nothing. As Arthur said I'm really looking forward to some more sticky tarmac so that I can't start pushing into the corners to see what the front end feels like. That was the only thing missing from today's ride.

Thats precisely why I went out on mine today, It was a bit greasy but that power is just breath taking when you've got grip.Rinsed it down and it looks as good as new.I feel better for it the urge has subsided Lol

Yeah I gave mine a rinse too. Well I tried but had a bit of a problem. I turned the water on and then hauled the hose through the garage to the front where the bike was stood and wondered why I wasn't getting any pressure. Turned round to look for kinks in the hose and saw that there was a massive split in said hose that I hadn't noticed when I turned the water on because it was on the reel. Unfortunately the split was now sat in the garage hosing all my tools in gallons of water :D

I noticed on the map that you weren't far away, mate. I was just running around on the local roads. Just getting used to it.

I'll definitely have to meet you in Helmsley sometime soon. I can't seem to stay away from the place once it gets warm :D

You ever get yourself up over the Pennines via Hartside to Penrith?

    Yeah that's what I said!

    Well....replace the W with an F, the O with a U, the next O with a C, the P with a K and then knock the S off the end :D

Oops I went for tea once, left the jetwash on standby in my workshop, came back half hour later and the hose had popped off and drowned the whole place...funny now but not at the time...lol

I can trump you there Art ... I live in a top floor flat (penthouse ;)) and I run a hose out from the bathroom window and connected to the cold water supply that feeds the water tank

You have already guessed the end of this story haven't you ..... the hose popped off the supply and flooded the bathroom ... ergo it also went through the ceiling of the flat below

    Now that's an OOOOPS

They were quite good about it considering
