My bike needs it's first service, it's now a year old and I obviously want to maintain the warranty.

The supplying dealer called to remind me it was due (how nice of them) and I provisionally agreed to booking it in.

How much should I expect to pay for this first proper service from a main dealer?

I know it will be expensive and a rip off, and people will say just buy a filter and oil, but I don't have the time or the skills.

    Thanks

Price varies dealer to dealer but expect to pay about £50 more than the initial 600 mile service,at my dealer that would be about £170:mad:. It's nothing more than a glorified oil and filter change. I was worried about the warranty too and contacted Doble Honda where i bought the bike from and their response was that honda prefer to see the bike during warranty period but as long as you use honda recommended parts and oil it would be ok. I chose to do the service myself, cost me 50 quid for oil and filter.

Had my first service done a month back or so and it was £145.

As said it's only an Oil & Oil Filter change, the Air Filter is done at 8K, mine was on 4K when it went in.

Yes they do other things like check/adjust ya chain etc but that's it.
