Well today I got home early and the road was dry, so taxed it on the phone (yes dvla did it on the phone) I have been repairing this black Blade from a cat "D" ,slide down the road, Plastics, levers, foot pedals, exhaust ect, Bought it on a whim, ebay job, Well a steady ten mile shakedown, fresh fuel and then twenty miles steady,,all was well, very different to my Fz1s thou fazer, this bike is a 2009 and done 1700 miles,,its like new,so tight, feels good. I am looking forward to getting warm tarmac and heading into Wales, next job , new tyres, these are original and 6 years old.
Hah,you have hit the nail on the head, the replacement plastics had Monster logo's on them, so I have used the right hand fairing with it on,now the question is, do I leave the stickers on or not,,i have repaired this bike purposely as standard, not doing any mods other than planned longer hugger and fender extender. Yes gloss black looks smart but do I need the boy race monster stickers,,ummmm????
+1 stickers gotta go! And monster is sooo 2013! (Not sure what the kids are drinking these days tho!)
Either way stickers or no stickers enjoy the bike and definitely get some new rubber! Can throughly recommend pirelli drc's and Michelin power 2ct range
As for tyres I have one new Metzeler Z8interact in the garage, will get a front to match , I love these and have done manymany miles on them and they are the BESTin the wet,, well I think so.
