Got the covers off and hit the coast for a run today.
Had the thermals on under the leathers plus a hoodie
On over them but damn it was cold.to get to our
Local coast road you have to do a short trip over a
Mountain. This is where I got stupily cold and as soon
As I hit the snow covered roads it felt like the temperature dropped
About five degrees. But all in all it was a great run out and managed
100 miles before having to call it a day due to rain and It getting dull.
Also got to try out this new map and I have to say I really like it,
front wheel spent more time in the air than on the ground......oh and
The note from the un-baffled leo vince was music to my ears heading
Through the tunnels along the coast. Fingers crossed a few more runs
Like that before the proper season starts[IMG]

Nothing better than a few beers and reflecting on the ride out especially after a winter lay up

    Cheers guys an gal,
Thats why I went and bought some more layers.
But I got a edz thermal top, it is thin but for the amount
I am out I couldn't justify the double price of the cold killer tops.
Also got a spada bib type thing to stop drafts down the neck
And spada winter/rain gloves.so the wind chill although I could
Really feel it wasn't bad enough to affect my concentration.
Only thing I did forget was thermal socks as two pairs just didn't
Cut it and I lost all feeling in my toes.on the plus side it was a nice
Adrenalin fix getting out and im not so down in the dumps now.
there is bad weather due with us soon
So im sure the gritters will be out soon so im now back in hiding
For a while longer. ...I tip my hat to you that do the commutes all
Year round, I think my two winters of using the car has made me
Feel the cold a bit more......now for some more Guinness before
Im off it for a wee while. What a week to take a holiday :)
