First run out

    Finally managed to break cover on the 2011 Repsol i have just bought. Just a brilliant bike. Performance is to behold and brakes are like throwing a parachute out the back.

    Find the front end a bit harsh though. I know its a sportsbike but i think it is a bit hard on the preload.

    Had a problem with the battery because it has been sitting for so long. Are they all that crap ? Alarm kills it i think....

    Pleased you enjoyed your ride, they are mint ain't they. Probably worth getting suspension set up proffesionally?
    As for the battery, get an optimate set up, that should help, and save any future frustration should it not start when you really need it too.

    glad you are happy with the bike, yeh the batteries are not great if they are left for a while, especially if you have an alarm fitted

    We have arranged for Alfa suspension to be at grantham Honda on the 20th if you want your suspension set, £30 I think

    Yeah blades are yearly lazy starters, an optimate will certainly help
