Wouldn't recommend this unless you want to leave without a bike in an ambulance.

Pembrey is a tricky track, take it easy and smooth.

Learn the track and then build up speed.

Lap time are all about smoothness.

Have fun, hope it will be dry

First session I like to keep to 2nd and 3rd gears. Learn the track, let the idiots go. Take your time. Build from there.

My first one was at Pembrey you will learn alot. My only advice is to watch out for people outbraking themselves at the end of the straight as you are turning into the hairpin. The rest of the track there is plenty of room and you will enjoy it, just go at your own pace you will get faster by the end of the day anyway.

If you get chance grab an instructor to go with you for a few laps you can learn lots of them.

Have fun and ride within yourself and you will be fine.

You will find in he novice group there is no racing line. Other riders are all over the track and do unexpected things so remember to keep a good gap between bikes

Check your tyres when your there. Cold 30/30 hot 35/35 is a good rule of thumb.

I did Pembrey last July, great track very flat and quite hard to pick out your reference points.
    Honda curve is Awesome!!
Only thing to watch out for are idiots who dive up the inside of you as you tip into the hair pin!!

    Have a ball.

You'll love it mate, 1st time out waiting in the holding area makes you mega nervous, its a great little track but hard to master, being on the Blade you wont be using many gears, I wouldnt recomend using 1st gear for the hairpin either, lots of peeps come off there due the rear spinning-up and spitting them off.

The Photographer is really good, get the Cd mate I think its around £25.00 and worth it for your 1st one to look back on, you can then use the photos to study body position etc....by the way its very addictive......hope you have a wicked day mate

I'm on stand by that day or I would have taken a ride up, even if it rains the track has loads of grip mate, dunno if your riding there, but you will need spare fuel, I take a jerry can and use most of it throughout the day

Much better using the trailer mate, you'll be knackered by the end of the day, and ache like hell the following morning [if your not fit]
The food in the cafe is ok, but expensive, try not to eat "heavy food" for dinner [chips etc] eat light and drink loads of water, you'll be buzzing the whole day mate.

One tip I would say is either tape-up or unplug your bake light, otherwise everyone will use you as a marker
