First View of the Ducati 899 Panigale

    Dropped me blade off today for its first service - they are a Ducati & Suzuki dealership. They had the new 899 Panigale in. Not sure about the matt white colour; but otherwise looks a lovely bike IMO. Hey - & a nice comfy seat. So will this be 'The' Duke to tempt me. Have never gone to the red side. It would have to be 'kin good to tempt me from me blade. Will look forward to taking the Duke out for a spin in the near future though. It's suppose to be more comfy/usable for the road than the 1198 - softer suspension, comfy seat etc & still plenty of power.

    Was in Ducati Glasgow yesterday, 899 looks identical to the 1199 except for the awful looking double sided swing arm, don't know why you would even consider one when the 1199 looks so appealing.

    Doh !! That's because the holes for the pistons are bigger on the 1198
    Bound to be lighter innit :)
