    Hi Guys.....
I recently bought a full set of TD fairings from a fellow member of the site..

    My question is.......

How long will it take to remove my stock fairings and fit the TD fairings?
as i have a TD coming up very soon.

If it was me Id say two weeks :)

But realistically 1.5/2 hours for back off and sides and lower, never taken the nose off so ?? then fit the new ones, unsure again as I have never had track fairings.

I take it they have been fitted before so should line up ok etc ??

You'll need to be prepared for some minor tweaks to mounting points so depends on how tooled up you are.

If you've never taken the fairings off before - have fun! They are a bit of a b@stard to figure out first time. It took me about 8hrs to pull everything off and fit shitty Chinese fairings (most of this time was spent sculpting the shit fairings into place with a craft knife!
Have you got separate ram air tubes? Dont think track fairings take the stock ones very well...

so it could be a long time..

It confuses me about people saying subframes etc need modyfying, if you buy a proper quality fairing then NOTHING needs doing, just remember you need superstock tank & seat unit and be careful if you have a stock exhaust as most fairings wont fit.

I converted around 7 last year
If you have a standard exhaust then you'll have to chop the lower bigtime.
    Standard airtubes fit.
Stock or Race tank covers fit
Worst part l ve found is the rear fairing, it usually needs padding out where you sit.
I usually end up making brackets for the lower fairing.
All depands on which kit your fitting.
