Well after a 40 mile round trip to the courier depot to pick up my R&G tail tidy that was meant to arrive yesterday I am now just about finished fitting it, but !!

I fitted the rear flashers that I have had on every other bike I have owned and have had no issues with regarding flash rate but on the Honda they are flashing ridiculously fast. Seems strange as they worked fine on my Ducati's, RSV4, GSXR and RC8.

Anyone else fitted led's and did you have to fit resistors or something ??

I have two small heat sink type resistors but these get stupid hot so a little wary of fitting them near any of the plastics. I will also have to Google how to fit them as I have forgotten !!

i've recently fitted LED oxford eyeshots which come with flasher relay / resistor thing so flash correctly.

had to doctor a few bits so i could get them under the rear seat and are sitting on the undertray with no problems

A relay would have been the easier option but no one here has anything like that, will have to order one and take the resistors that I have fitted out. All working correctly now though.

I listened for the relay clicking and it did sound like it was behind the dash somewhere, the link above confirms it is in there somewhere. Is it just a clocks out job or more than that ??
