Just watched a piece on tv this compensation malarkey is getting out of hand we were delayed overnight on a Thomas Cook flight back from Tenerife when the starter motor failed and to be fair they kept us informed bussed us back to hotels all over the place ensured we were all fed and given drinks bearing in mind it all takes time to organise to sort 300 people out and now I can claim roughly £350 compensation great eh!! On a flight that cost £300!! Except I wont be bothering they did all they could for us,shit happens. So that's gonna put ticket prices up or airlines going bust not so fcuking great now is it!
Had similar mate. BA lost Emily's luggage for 3 days when we where in NYC, and ours wasa day late. BUT, BA were great on the flight there, plied me with many bottles of red, looked after Emily as she has major allergies, and were brilliant. we got told to keep receipts for clothes that we had to buy due to late luggage, but I felt I couldn't claim..karma and all that.
Just sat and watched this myself. Yep, only a matter of time and it will be Another caller to add to a list of constant barrage of PPI 'consultants' soon as someone says the word compensation everyone jumps up with their piggy little hands out, And again they'll be whining when the flights and prices of holidays goes up to cover for the losses. Ho hum, Everything comes at a price.
