floating rear disc

any one fitted one guys?? ive seen a couple , one from alth discs but nearly £400 galespeed do one to for about £150.

my new wheels are on there way so thought might aswell up grade the discs too.

 

What would the benefit be of a floating rear disc?

 

stops your rear disc from warping when you finally decide to use the pedal and the piston seizes.

but TBH I probably over use my rears and have managed to warp them, reckon its because I have a nasty habit of keeping the rear brake on when stationary?

 

I’ve got braketech’s on a couple of my bikes, beautifully made discs.

 

Well I went with the galespeed one in the end, quite basic and it sits on 4 bobbins that bolt into the wheel, but it's just a bolt on mod.
