I'm sure most of you have read through the dilemma I have had with regards to the Samco hoses, so I won't go and bore everyone. So, here I have for sale a new set of Samco Hoses in the box to fit the 2004-2005 Fireblade ONLY!! A bit of history: 2/3rd's of the kit has been fitted to my bike, but no fluid has been passed through the hoses and the bike was never started up whilst they were fitted. I have cleaned all the hoses with Samco/Autoglym's hose wipes & I have also included a wipe in the box, so you can use it once you have fitted them. I bought the kit with the intention of fitting it to my bike, but due to Samco not knowing that Honda changed the hoses in 2006 they sold the kit as 2004-2007 until recently. This kit costs £180 plus postage from most retailers, I'm looking for £125 inc postage. I can also get you the Samco stainless steel hose clamp kit that goes with this kit for £30 if required. Hi Sam, Not sure about the 04-05, but I know not all the hoses are hidden behind the fairing on the 06-07 model. I believe the main benefits for using silicon hoses is that they allow the engine to run slightly cooler, they have a higher burst point and that they are made from a substance that will not deteriorate as quickly as rubber.
Ok, looking for £100 plus £15 postage via 48hr Parcel Force if anyone is interested?? Surely this is a steal for anyone....
