With a heavy heart I'm selling my 2015 urban tiger. I bought it new June 15 so still has the balance of the Honda warranty. Completed an embarrassing 1200 miles and unlikely to increase due to family comittments. Absolutely immaculate, always garaged, I promise you won't find a mark anywhere, not even a speck of dust. Fitted a few bits like tail tidy and rad guard, but most importantly it had a professional ventureshield fitted at 30 miles. Can't think what else to say, but I reckon this is a stonking deal for someone at £9250. Just got one photo here but will post more at the weekend. Located in sunny sussex if you want a look.
Just thought I'd add for clarity that this comes with the genuine seat cowl and the pillion seat, the akrapovic exhaust and the original.
I have one of these 98 remaining Urban Tigers in the UK - the finish on these is perfect and that looks to be 'as new' - they are all hand painted in the UK by one of the top paintshops (Spraybay). Mine wears a few battle scars as its been through the wars but gets a fantastic reaction. Worth remembering this is a 2014+ bike which had quite a few mods of over the 2012 one (ported head, amended fuelling ,exhaust, riding postion) the same as the all singing all dancing SP got. Add a decent Quickshifter to this and you've got a fantastic road bike for the real world. Good luck with sale - price looks spot on to give somebody a bargain - there are a few brand new ones for sale still and all £12k+
Cheers for your comments Al, couldn't agree more, it certainly does get some attention. Interesting to see the 98 figure, where did that come from? I think I've priced it keenly to give folks on here a chance to upgrade. If a 2012 will sell for £7k, then another 2 and a bit for a bike that's 3 years newer, has the tiger paint, akra exhaust, and warranty, has to be a cheap way to upgrade right? If it doesn't sell in the next week or so on here then I'll try elsewhere, and I expect it'll end up in euroland at current rates.
I know 100 were produced, at least 2 have met with tarmac as I have 2nd hand panels on mine after its 'incident' If you think a standard black blade is over 10k yet the bikes are identical under the skin your one is a bargain i think
its not just 3 years newer than a 2012 bike, its a newer model with lots of changes which were lost in the SP 'halo' moment when both launched at the same time
Little bump up for this. If a buyer wanted an akra megaphone exhaust I could look at chucking one in. Got loads of bits and bobs too that have never made it to the bike that coukd sweeten a deal. Also could consider a cheaper bike as a Px, perhaps even a trade on a car up or down.
Don't sell your bike short. I'd get it on ebay, pistonheads, bike trader and MCN with asking price £9,500 to give some haggle space. Make it clear its an RR-E 2014+ bike and is same as current 2016 blade. i have no doubt it will go before long at that money - its just a hard time of year but somebody out there will want one - most folk on here have a blade already
I saw one of these in the Blade Honda Showroom a year or so ago, one of the best looking bikes I have ever seen. Even better with the Akky on it. If I hadn't just bought a 13 plate Repsol I would seriously think about this.
