    Hi all,

I bought a renntec rack for my 2005 blade off ebay a few weeks back, but have now decided the ventura suits me better (so i can swap between rack and handle etc...).

As such I'm selling the renntec rack on again. Its in good used condition and appears to have the fixings with it.

I'm looking for £50+ postage (or collection from birmingham, o aberystwyth is fine)

    Any questions let me know

    Nick

    Hi mate,

I don't have any pics fitted as I never actually fitted it to mine.

I can post a few pics of the rack itself if you like. I'll have a look to see if I can find a link to fitting instructions too. As there aren't any with the rack. It looks like it fits under the pillion seat though??

Does anyone else have one fitted who coul comment further??

I've got one one my 954, so I don't know how similar it will be. The two forward bolts replace the bungy bobbins just forward of the pillion. The rear brackets go under the pillion and into the 'boot' where they fix to existing fixtures inside.

I'll nip out and take some pictures in a bit.

    renntec

Thanks for your pics Kpone, nice to see one in situ.

I've taken a few pics of the rack itself, they are in the flikr link below. One of the pics is of the instructions (they were in the bag after all). Hopefully the pic is clear enough for you to read the instructions too.

renntec - a set on Flickr

I also found the renntec site which states its the same rack for 2004 - 2007 so this rack should fit fine. I've put the link to that below too as it shows the rack in situ on a 1000 too.

Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Sports Rack / Carrier From Renntec

I've checked the fixings against the list on the instructions and the bolts and spacers are there, but the 2 washers and plastic plugs (which i assume would be to plug the holes after something is removed) are not. I've got some washers coming tomorrow for something else so can chuck a couple of those in.

    Hope this helps

    Hi mate.

I assume looking at your location you need it posting out?? If so I think we are looking at £10 having weighed it and checked the rm site. so £60 all in if you're happy with that??

Bank transfer would be best for me but I can take ppg if you want??

Drop me a pm with your address etc... And let me know which method suits and I'll pm the necessary details in response.

If we can sort tonight I'll have it in the post for you in the morning

    Cheers
    Nick

    Hi mate,

I've not heard from you and you've not replied to my pm, but I see you've been online a few times since. If you don't want it, no worries but if you could let me know so I can either mark it back up for sale or eBay it, i'd be grateful.

    Cheers
    Nick
