    Anyone else have this issue?

I've got a Forcefield L2K Evo back protector and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, when I ride wearing it it always rides up in my leathers and ends up making it so I can't properly tilt my head back. The back of my lid hits it.

Is looks like the right size when I wear it outside the leathers but it makes me want to not wear it. It's just not comfortable.

    Not had any issues.

Always velcro/strap it up tight and also wear a baselayer type top over it which may help keep it in place too.

I used to wear the Forcefield Pro Sub 4 which straps up the same way as the L2. I also wore it over a base layer and never had an issue with it riding up.
FWIW the straps should be so tight that it can't ride up.

That's a good point. @BoroRich Is it the correct size for your height?

I think mines great! Once it's warmed up a bit and moulds to your back I don't notice it's there, also like others here I wear a base layer underneath it and make sure the waist belt is done up tight

Mine did first two time but I adjusted the shoulder straps longer so it sat a little lower and it was fine since

Have the L2 Pro and No issues, sounds like it's possibly the wrong size! Once it's warmed up it forms to the shape of your back, excellent bit if kit.

Thanks for the replies, lads. I reckon it might be too large.

I'm only 5 foot 7 and I'm wearing a medium. I think that's probably what's pushing it up. That and the fact I'm wearing a two-piece. I think the waist bulge on the leathers might be interfering with getting it pushed far enough down.

    Probably could use a small.

I'm 5'7" and use a medium as I only have short legs. When I wear it with my 2 piece the tail of the the protector sits inside the trousers.

Check the forcefield site as they have a measuring guide. On the upside it should be easy to sell a medium if you need to.

I have a forcefield back insert. It is on the heavy side and can move around unless is firmly located in its pouch with no free space and the pouch itself properly attached to the jacket top & bottom.

Well it's confirmed. The protector looks right when I've got it on and am stood upright but I was looking this morning and when I get into riding position it's too long.

Anyone wanna buy a size medium Forcefield L2K Evo? Barely-used....... :D

I'm 5 8" and use a size small in the L2 pro, I looked on the website and it was boarder line small/med for height but opted for the small as company selling them at discounted price only had that size! Fits like a glove and more than happy with size and feel. Suggest sticking it in the for sale adds and trying to get a size small.

They're excellent bits of kit. Wouldn't be without my one.

you are putting it on wrong ... you are supposed to attach the velcro to your arse hairs so it does not ride up.

God knows there's enough hair to attach it to.

If there is a god, that is. He's got a sick sense of humour. Won't let it grow on my head but my arse looks like Terry Waite's allotment.
