been contemplating doing one for donkeys, but i cant seem to come up with a total cost of the trip lock stock and barrel. could any one put a total figure on it for me. lets assume the track day is at jerez with no limits at a cost of 500 squid. what is included in that and what extra do i have to organise, with a final cost please including the 500 squid with no limits. many thanx

    Flights £200-250ish

I reckon I spent around the £1000-£1200 for everything.

With no limits you get the track time (obviously), hotel and bike transport.

Extras you'll need are flights, insurance (there's a link on NL website), hire car, fuel, food+drink. It's also best to pay for one extra night in the hotel. That way your not rushing straight off track to get to the airport. I think that's everything.

Or do the Cannonball Run and get a day at an undisclosed Ex GP track and the Nurburgring plus 7 days of biking madness in between blasting through 5 countries for just a tiny bit more :D

You can do it cheaper than that. Book flights early and you should get a good deal. I just booked flight flights to Brno end of June for £81 return. Car hire, split with some m8s or if you are travelling alone post on NL FB page asking for people to share. Tyres, depends how quick you are. No point buying top end slicks if you aren't quick enough to use them. NL use stillage to transport bikes and you'd be amazed how much stuff you can get on them. Take 3 rear scrubs and a front or 2 and you'll be laughing. Insurance with Holiday Safe is a fraction of 4 Counties. Buy bread ect from supermarket instead of buying lunch at cafe at lunchtime. Fuel depends on track and how quick you are. Jerez is a fast track so fuel hungry so €25 a day but fill your tank before you drop the bike off. If you want to stay extra nights book using a Hotel room booking service and it's cheaper. If you get on the piss every night and eat streak then yeah €50 is possible. Eat spag bol and 3 or 4 beers and its $25/30. Depends what you want to spend really. I'm in Cartagena now and we are eating steak and drinking beer every night so yeah €50 is possible. I think Euro trips are amazing and good value for money with track time and weather. Also 3 or 4 days on track in a row mean you can take things learnt from day to day and progress. Plus it's a great laugh and NL are imo the best TDO to do euros with. Use the instructors as they are free and always happy to take you out. in short.... D-do it!

Oh and make an effort and try and get fit before you go! Riding on track for 3 days in the heat is fooking knackering on body and mind. If you're fit it makes it soooo much easier. I've sat on my arse since last trackday in Nov and 2 days in my thighs feel like someone's had a go at them with a baseball bat :( I really should know better.

ok to give you a proper idea,a lot deoends where you fly from/too etc but.

    flights 125
    car hire 4 days £20+fuel
    bike fuel £20 per day
tyres, same as you would soend on 3 uk trackdays
food+drink,as much or as little as you like
    insurance £20

extra night in the hotel after yor trackdays (optional) about £40.

there go.at the end of the day you can do it as cheap as you like after taking into the account the stuff you have to pay for.

as james said, cost me about £1200 for the 4 days.but can be done a fair bit cheaper
