hi I'm thinking of changing my fork oil for no other reason than my mate just changed his it's a 11 plate r1 and it was black and pretty used looking ,mines is a 2011 cbr1000rr I drive it quite hard and I was wandering if anyone has any opinion on changing the grade of oil or just stick to the oem which I believe is 10w Cheers

My local advised #5 weight oil (whatever that is!) but that was with a ktech revalve and lower rate spring, much smoother on the bumps, I'm about 67kg so probably on the light side for the OEM setup.
