Well was out looking around tat shops with the missus on Wednesday and found this nice mounted Rossi painting, its a limited edition print which is signed by the artist "gareth Gruff" Got it for £20 and thought it would look rather flashy in the garage Ive done some research and cant find out much about the artist. Anyone know much about these?
I just mashes der keyboard wiv my fists. Actually I'd not heard of him at all, but he was quite good, by the looks. There's not much about him except obituaries, unfortunately.
I met Carlolyne at the Donnington WSB round and bought a signed Guy martin print off her. Thoroughly nice lady and well worth a chat with if you ever cross her path. She has a lot of signed prints and carries on Gruffs business, so you can still get them if you would like others.
I met him many a time at the bike shows here as my sister knew him as she done prints too.I still have a 916 and a kevin schwantz one in my house....somewhere.
Yep thanks guys, im kicking myself now as they were a pair!! I only bought one of them.. The other was Rossi again doing a burnout on a repsol, it wasnt as good and didnt have anymore cash on me so only bought this one... kicking myself now
she does helmets now, a few of her designs were used by a 250 WPG team and a few TT racers.she was doing A3 size paintings for racers for about £70 so that was getting her a good few quid back then.still waiting on her doing one for me but I wont hold my breath...mind you she painted a bike and two lids for me lol
