I'd appreciate people's input. My bike's currently in the garage because of a stuck left hand top engine mounting bolt. The bolt's going to shear for sure when they try to remove it and it's going to need replacing after the hole's been helicoiled. I'm going to replace the mushrooms 'cos I don't like the ones that are on there. Can't get hold of R&G ones unless they're white which I don't think would look good on my bike so question is......who makes the best frame sliders?
Are they not all much the same (except for the no holes ones with the kink to avoid the bodywork). R&G claim to use extra strong bolts, but i would imagine most quality sliders are the same.
I've had um snap off mate I have always used easi outs perfect drill centre hole and to be fair even if torqued to much the bolt is in a continuous hole so no real pressure there once head of bolt is off
