Can anyone tell me how much "free play" should be in the throttle twist grip before the taps open?
I seem to have quite a bit since I fitted my heated grips, this play can be adjusted via the cable adjusters?

Are you sure its not the heated grips that are twisting in the throttle tube before it then grips and turns the throttle?

Seems odd that it is now different with only adding the heated grips

No Colin deffo a lot of free play but ive adjusted the cable and went out on the bike and its a lot better, i'm thinking now that the free play has been there all the time as now the bike feels a lot smoother on roll off if that makes sense

Should be just enough , so that throttles DON'T open when steering on full lock either way.

2-3mm and ensure lock to lock doesn't activate the throttle!
