    Hi
I have a cbr1000rr 2005 , changed front pads as worn ever since front brakes seem very harsh and juddery.
Have left it a while to let them bed in but no change .
Any suggestion on type and brand of pads to use or any other suggestions why ?
    Thanks gary

I think you might have a warped disc or discs. That would explain why there's no difference after changing pads.

Good call, common one on older bikes this one due to the build up of brake dust and general road dirt.

Give the bobbins a tap with the end of a spanner and then give the outer disk a wiggle with your hand to free it up. A squirt with some decent brake cleaner is worth doing too. I know it's common sense but don't use anything lube like that's going to get onto the pads/disks.

Get a bolt and spin a nut on to it (not a self locking nut). Stick it through one of the disc bobbins with the bolt head facing out. Then spin another nut on the bolt (inside of the disc). Tighten the nuts up against the disc, not too tight, this will lock it onto the bobbin. Then free the bobbin by turning the head of the bolt whilst spraying liberally with brake cleaner. Just turn it half turn each way and it should free up. Then move on to the next bobbin.

As for pads to go for, I like the SBS Street sinter for the road and race sintered for track.

I assume this has been resolved now, but if your brakes only started juddering when you changed pads, did you give the discs a good clean before you put the new pads in? Can cause juddering when pads are running against old pad material that is adhered to the disc

have you serviced the caliper, pushing the pistons back in for the new pads can lead to them sticking, I would always recommend servicing the calipers when fitting new pads, it takes me about 3 hours to remove clean and refit the pistons. I do it every winter just to stop the brakes binding
