I went through this dilema and the general advice was stick with the standard discs. The standard pads are also very good but i went for sbs pads as they offer better bite

You will probably get decent wavy discs cheaper than standard ones

I'm waiting on a set of extra light UP7's to be delivered from Dymag.
When I take my current discs of my wheels, I'll weigh the wrp discs compared to the standard ones. If the wrp ones are heavier I won't be using them, so you could have them for what they cost me!!!

You,ll be sorry if you,re a heavey braker....................I went through 2 sets on my 929...........never again !!.I needed some discs for the RR6 when I bought her, ended up buying a set of new "Goldfern" SP1 discs, other than they,re a tad noisey(rattle in the bobbins)they work well and have been really HOT at times.
