i bought my blade in 2016 so mine has the showa bpf. now mine and several demos i ridden all have a bit of a clunk sometimes at slow speed on bad roads. mine did it from day one and i noticed it on the demos i ridden and google lets u know it appears to be a thing wich just comes with these type front forks. ride hard over bad roads or potholes and u hear nothing but go slow and it clunks sometimes. to make sure i checked everything including the headstock bearings but its defo the forklegs themselves. i talked to the suspension guy i go to whenever i want something changed and he told me its a thing that comes with the showa bpf forks and is due to the cheap (his words not mine) internals they used inside the legs. according to google many people with other brand bikes experience the same thing i do with these forks. Rooske (the suspension guy) told me the options are; - to live with it as its not going to fail - to rip out the internals and swap them for öhlins or k tek cartridges. what do u people think of this and/or has anyone here done such a thing? i am very happy with the handling of the whole bike its just a bit annoying to here the forks bump every now and then.
