I went to my local bike night yesterday and a chap arrived on a 14 reg CBR 600rr. As he pulled up we noticed that both front indicators were on together but not flashing, so approached the chap to tell him about the apparent defect. He explained that he knows and that he had gone back to the dealers and they explained that the new bikes were all like that, having the front indicators as running lights and flashing when turning. Now to me that seems like a recipe for getting flattened by a car driver who thinks that you are turning, also I always thought that any front facing running lights had to be white as in US vehicles imported had to have running lights converted to comply with MOT and traffic regs. I may be wrong of course and this may be the new trend, but seems more like the bike does have a fault and he's been fed BS by the dealer... Has anyone else seen this on "new" bikes ??
