    Hello Everyone!

This is my first time on this site, but it seems like some great members who respond with some quick answers!

I have a front end from a 2009 cbr1000rr that I am putting on a 1977 GoldWing (I know, a little bit of a random bike to do it to, but I love the GoldWings!) I've been looking for a front rim for it and I was looking for something a little bit different than the stock rim.
Are their any rims from other bikes or models that have a different look that are a fairly easy swap overs? I don't want the $1000+ carbon fiber rims, still keep it metal, but just a different look than the stock rims. Thanks in advance! I attached a photo of my Goldwing as to where it is at right now =)

    WTF?

That's bloody brilliant. I'll never typecast a Goldwing owner again!

As for rims, you've got a far greater range in the states than we'll ever have here. However, my view is that spokes seem to suit the style and look it portrays. The next step I think would be the Fireblade 3-spoke type as fitted on the 2004 - 2011 bikes. In black. The problem you might encounter though is adaptability for discs as the front use 310 - 320 mm (04,05 - 06,07) and of course the rear sprocket carrier/cush drive etc will be a prob. It's not really the sort of bike that aftermarket wheels were made for.

I once built a bike (CB 750) using Borrani rims with chrome spokes that looked very effective.

As an added touch, you might consider removing the pillion pegs - unless your have a changeover dual seat.;)

Change the forks but get spacers made up to keep the wire wheels! Or perhaps look at getting some custom hubs made up for the rims you already have to fit the blade forks and blade brake discs
