Hi guys, I purchased this from Vic_ster51 on this site back in Sept14' as i fancied hearing the volume a little more from my 2009 HRC Blade. A cracking bit of kit, it really lets the bike sound as it should. It was simple to fit, includes a removable baffle, an HRC sticker (not know why it has a Yoshi sticker, anyway looks nice), comes with a carbon hanger plate (I've included some better fitting rear-set bolts and washers i bought) and has the 02 sensor fitments so no F1 code issues on the dash! It includes a bar that connects the link pipe to the header box to help secure it, which is a nice idea (again I've included a bolt set up for that) So, why am i selling it, it's a personal choice and now desire to get an 'underneath' exhaust system so I'm putting it back up for sale on here while i search for one of those.. I'm not looking to profit, so priced at £100 (plus postage under £10) which is exactly what i paid for it. Thanks for looking guys, Cornish
Thanks Repsol01, I never tried it without the baffle to be fair it was loud enough with it in, it would be very loud without, yet not more than a Remus i had on another Blade. With the link pipe it doesn't have all that box to subdue it.
Anyone know where to got the foot rest mount as my piperworx mount to pillion pegs and I'd like to remove them
Hi Phil. The previous owner seems to have sourced a carbon extension to use. Maybe from an old rearset heel plate by the looks of on mine. Measure up the difference and get a piece of aluminium to do the job or a drilled bar from a DIY shop. Both would do the job. I reckon 10-12cms length would do it.
OK guys, time to take offers on this then as the summer season approaches, who wants a different end can with some noise to it? Cheers for looking, Cornish
Well the Blade is going on Friday, so reduced to £100 posted to UK address, let me know. Open to offers too as taking up valuable garage space guys and girls. cheers, Cornish
I've a small video with it fired up i took when it was fitted, pm me with your email if interested and I'll send it over. Cheers Cornish
Hi Cornish, did you manage to sell that pipe werx end can? I would be keen on it if it's still available?
