this has probably been done before
But what fuel do you put in your blade?
    95 or 98 Ron

My VTR with 190 jets and k&n filter like shell v power and did play up when I put Sainsbury’s in one day.
The blade was designed to run on 95ron so is it worth the 98 or not?
    Thanks

I put V-Power in my Car and bike. Plus V-Power diesel in the Qashqai. They all seem to be more responsive and crisper. I think it lasts longer mileage wise too.

I use 98 in all mine - even the two-stroke.

Not sure that I've noticed any performance improvement, but I definitely get a few more miles per tank on the 98. However, my prime reason for the conversion was for the 'ethanol free' factor and its 'supposed' ability to not degrade tank and fuel line components. Is also supposed to run much cleaner and that is important to me with bikes that are run less frequent than the average. (With those I add Honda Fuel Stabiliser) https://seamarknunn.com/acatalog/h2...u458-wHMPBQpESjpu7GK7W4hi5WnKgBRoC5ZcQAvD_BwE

Admittedly we're paying quite a bit extra, but I see it as insurance.

Agreed, although the 2018 Owner's Handbook states '95 or higher' which suggests 95 as the base point. I think we could only ever know the difference if seen on a performance print out of the two different octanes.
