What works best on 08/11 blades?. Honda uk racing (hm plant/Samsung) use Akrapovic, Padgetts use Arrow (as did Ten Kate until recently), and Wilson Craig use Leo Vince. These would appear to be the three best systems to choose from. Leo Vince seem to make two different systems, a normal one and a Corse one, looks like the 4-1 is different arrangement I take this would be the real McCoy system for racing while the other is more for road guys?. Is this the same with Akrapovic? Is there a full system for racing different to the full race system suitable for road bikes?.
They are probably all akros re branded and badged. I hear that s what happens in moto 2. It's all advertising I'd say as to what team uses what and how much they pay them Choose which one u like the look of or is the cheapest to replace when u bin it. Mayb talk to mhp exhausts ?
no way are they rebranded,arrow are quite different to akky's. they all do different versions,from head bore/material,to system bore,and then link bores to end can. arrow are very loud compared to akky's,and you have at least 3 different link pipe bore's,not to mention end can.
I meant in racing not in off the shelf. I did hear that's what they did in moto2 as akro made the best. I could be wrong looks like I m on crack
I did read in a mag before that Akrapovic made exhausts for factory's in Moto GP that sold the advertising to other companies. Like Rossis Honda RCV, no way pollini made the exhausts for that. The arrow and the Leo vince are both pretty similar on price £1200 aprox. Anyone had either on the dyno?.
That's a contradiction in terms IMHO? All the 'Full Race systems' advertised by the usual manufacturers state in small print, "Not suitable for road use" This is due to noise rather than anything else.
While what you are saying is true Sinewave, there are two leo vince systems, the factory R "race system" that is probably a decent enough system £950. Then theres the factory R corse "race system" £1250. Neither are road legal I would expect but theres only one that is really designed as a pukka race kit part.
