I had some custom earplug made once. When I remove my helmet my ear kinda folds into the hole, having them in make it a ball ache to remove, I thought my would have to live forever with my Arai on! just a thought

I have used ultimate ear plugs for 3 years and they are great, just paid for new plugs from them that are headphones, can't rate them highly enough

Bought some at the bike show with headphones... CANT WAIT to try them out. at £170 wasnt cheap but was speaking to a couple of fellas at the show (customers not staff) and they said they are so good as ear plugs and block out the noise that they have their I pods on at under half volume and can hear perfect.

    Sold it for me....

I never felt comfortable wearing them. It feels like they're muffling too much input that I need to feel right and I couldn't get on with them.

nothing mate - but i'm mutton as it is, cant be doing with wrecking my ears anymore!!

plus i do like to listen to tunes on a long ride oout (but not with standard headphones as you need them sooooo loud, kinda defeats the object) so thought i'd give them a go.....

also might get a scala for tours so thought these would be good for clarity of sound.

Cool, i might have to look at a cheap set as the Duc is a lot louder than the blade was ! But like Ken I don't feel right without hearing all that's going on when on the bike.

I got some a few months ago. Sounds like Snap, Crackle and Pop in your ear while they're curing :)

They're comfy, but I have an HJC lid which has some room around the ears. It lets them rotate a smidge which lets some noise in.
With a tighter lid I'm sure they'd not move at all.

    Great apart from that :)

I got mine from eBay. Cost about £17 to my door.
Got the flesh coloured ones to be less conspicuous, but unless I move to Chelsea or Essex, I'm nowhere near orange enough ;)

I just had them as standard earplugs, but here's a video on making earplug versions:

    Cheers for that Bry,

    Set on order :D.
The missus is always complaining about her ear phones coming out whilst we go running, I won't have to listern to her moaning now. Money well spent I say ;)
