There's a rumour it's going to be warmer AND dryer today, and I've got this new bike that so far I've just looked at in the garage since collecting it

So maybe.... Today's the day for a steady ride out :)

Good luck Shutty. It piddled down here yesterday and washed the salt away and the weather's looking good...but I'm of out on a pre arranged visit at the other side of the county with a boot full of gifts destined for somebody's loft, no doubt. So if the bike's going out, it'll be going on its own.

Well managed 3 hrs Northallerton, Helmsley and Whitby, before bad light, and getting a bit cold stopped play, but wow, first proper ride and soo much better than the CB1R. Can't wait for some nice warm dry roads.

A169, halfway between Pickering and Whitby, going past Flyingdales, on the North Yorkshire moors, one of the best roads in North Yorkshire on a sunny day. Most of the bike mags have done it at some stage or another.
