    Right then!

I'm pissed off with my shyte concrete floor which is rough, got a few potholes and is very dusty, proper Farmers Concrete but is level.

Guna get a mate who runs a flooring company to come and wank some magic fairy dust over it to fix the holes and dustiness etc then I want to lay some click together tiles.

Been looking on the Bay, machine Mart and Google etc and I reckon I can cover my 25m2 floor for a few hundred quid.

Anyone got any recommendations from a previous purchase? :)

we've got something similar at work they're very good unless there is anywhere water can get under them as it just sits.
I used proper industrial two pack floor paint on mine, goes down very thick, it has lasted really well and doesn't peel up when you leave a car or bike parked on it like the cheap stuff. this is he stuffFlortex Professional Non Slip Paint, Anti Slip Paint & Coatings
. It's not cheap but cheaper than those tiles.

    Ozz

I put >> these << down last year. So far so good although if you leave the bike parked for a while you do get an indent, and I use a wooden sheet under the side stand to protect the flooring.

If I was flush I would have looked at >> this << which is what the missus uses in stables. Much denser and durable although you may still need to use a puck for the side stand.

I have carpet tiles from our almost never walked on boardroom carpet - makes a huge difference to warmth / comfort and being tiles if one gets really dirty or damaged I just replace the single tile (noting which way the arrows face - yes i have also fitted carpet tiles at work...)

I only stick the first row by the door down - all others just rest

They are very hard wearing and been down a few 3 / 4 years now I think

I've had these before but they did scratch and stain which for the price wasn't great. Don't know if I would have them again. Need to see what else is out there. At the moment I have carpet in the garage which is holding up well.

My worry is that a lot of these so called 'comfy' floor tiles will be too soft for using Paddock stands and side stands etc.

I'll still end up having to use ply possibly to stop indents where the paddocks stands wheels will undoubtedly press in over time.

I think I need some hard plastic tiles rather than high density foam one's ?

They do dig into the rubber type, and as you say you'll end up using ply board.

Was going to buy these too but thinking similar with stands digging in. Opted for hard wearing carpet tiles and same as all blade if 1 gets marked just swap for another!!

Sorry Scott, didn't quite understand your previous post first time round!

    Links are simple.

Open a new window and navigate to the page you want to link to.

Move you mouse to the address bar then right click the website address.

It'll turn blue then click copy from the option box that appears.

Go back to the reply you're writing in the thread and right click again wherever you want the link to appear amongst any text you've written then just click paste from the options box.

'Control V' will paste directly also.
