Has anyone got one or used one? I've read that they have loads of sensors built into them which include Lean Angle sensors etc that overlay onto the Video but i can't find any videos anywhere with this overlay on them. It's time for an upgrade to my GoPro hero3+Black and i was going to go with the GoPro Hero 4 but if this Garmin Virb XE does all that i've heard then i think i may have to reconsider the GoPro

Don't wanna be a damp squib but....if you use a camera on roads you got to be sure to be squeaky clean. I don't use them, won't use them, and tend not to ride with others that use them.
Another forum that I use was talking about them and one guy kept putting his footage out there. So, suddenly it goes into the public domain....
He says, it's not on my speedo Nick, so no problem... I point out that VASCAR stands for visual average speed computer and recorder. Time/Distance = Average speed which can be worked out from camera footage. So, if you're involved in an incident, police will likely seize camera and scan footage to see how you've been riding prior to incident.
Yes, I know they have their benefits, but consider the other aspect of using them on the road.
