I am looking at putting a new engine casing on to replace the scraped one I have on now. Will I need a new gasket or will the one coming off be ok to re-use. Clutch side 2009.

If you can get one easy enough Id put a new one on, going to be real annoying to find it leaks your fresh oil because you skimped!

If it's worth doing it's worth doing right and don't be tempted with instant gasket it's a bodge.

Yeah get a new gasket, you don't want to do the job twice if it leaks.

Yeah I used that after replacing my clutch, there is no gasket on that side, you need a sealant

just use sealant,it doesn't need/have a gasket, although i think HRC might do them (try padgetts if your set on one)
