Ok so i fitted a set of Pirelli diablo rossos in june and they were great for summer riding, but after 5000 miles they are rather shot, and riding around the M25 on cold and wet days has proven that worn tyres is tricky with little or no grip. I ride all year and my bike is a tool so am changing tyres to Michelin road pilot 3 these will see me through winter and hopefully they will get me some 4-5K when i can get some nice summer rubber fitted. Oh well another £300 gone but hey what fun!!!!!!!!

Balistic!!! the tyres are GREAT. So much grip in the wet,i found myself leaning into corners far more than i did with my old boots on, there is so much feedback and you can power out of the corners knowing that the back will not slip at all. So for a 50 mile round up they get the thumbs up for me, also they seem to heat up in yards and not miles like my Pirelli's did.

No seiously they are fantastic, i decided to put a set on knowing that i use my bike over winter so i wanted a tyre that would reflect the riding i do. By the time good weather approaches i should have worn them out so that i can change to a summer sports tyre.

??? I have just heard that the BT023's are ment to be a good tyre. My bike has factory fitted BT015's. I'm just getting no milage out of the tyre at all, Thought the BT023 was a better option!!

The OE BT015 are the worst tyre I have ever had the BT016 are very good I had two sets on the R1 and the back managed about 3000 miles and the BT016 pro's are the new version might be worth a look, but the BT023 will last longer, it all depends on what you are looking for :)

I had a set of BT 015's on my Busa when I first got it last year and I got 2k out of the rear and couldn't wait to change them. Totally didn't inspire confidence and were shite in the wet. I certainly wouldn't put them on a Blade.

    *****sorry meant the 015's******
