    HI !!

I would like to change my rear set.

i hesitate between the Gilles VCR and the try black edition.

Does somebody has hesitated between these two ?

TRW are a lot cheaper, but Gilles looks more precise adjustability.

Can someone can talk about VCR or TRW to help me make a choice ?

PS : if i make English errors, please tell me now ! ( french )

The Gilles with its unique system seems to be a lot more flex too, isn't it ?

I haven't tried the TRW, but the Gilles I have is just a work of art.. tried about 3-4 different mounting positions to get them perfect.. the quality is just out of the world.. so have bought the chain adjusters as well..

As gilesy has said the quality and attention to detail made me get both the chain adjusters and the VCR rearsets :) they are brilliant IMO

Thanks all, why did you get these and not the VCR ?

I'm afraid about the VCR in case of fall, to broke the mechanism.

Not got any experience personally of the VCR but a mate of mine had them (weighs 90kg) and found they flexed a little too much and in the end failed. He is rather hard on the pegs though.

This was on a ninja 636 though, the design might be different.
Gilles have great aftercare support though, he got the spares really quick.

Ah, this is my first worry , i am 90kg and i don't want a flex rear set. So i'm thinking about standard set like the other Gilles not VCR or TRW.

Thanks for pics, the 31GT looks like less flex and on the other hand, in case of accident, you just have to replace the pegs , the VCR system can brake on accident.
