Hi All, Has anyone fitted Gillies Vario bar risers to a 2012 onward Blade. I have a creaky back and would like the bars a little nearer and higher but would like to get opinions in general and would love to see a bike with them fitted. Cheers Dave
Yep and very nice they were too despite their £300 cost! I particularly like the fact you could adjust the angle of the bars through about 8 stepped angled posistions along with the fixed 40mm height gain.
Hi Sinewave, Thanks for your info, don't the risers come with an extension part to give the increase? Did you fit them yourself? and are there any problems with the clutch resovior fouling the screen. Would you be able to post a close up pic showing how high the bars actually are. Many thanks. Dave
The kit does come with an extension piece but I found it too short to allow full height angle of the bars. I converted to HEL lines 1 month later and just ordered the front line 2" longer so cost me nothing extra tbh. These are the only other photo's I have as the Bikes gone now in favour of a Green Meanie! ;-)
