Evening everyone. This could go either here or in the what did you do today bit but here it is. I finally decided which rearsets to go for and was lucky enough for a set to come up on Fleabay. These were for a 08 to 10 bike and not abs but I couldn't see any difference really as no-one I spoke to had pics of the so called C-abs ones so I decided to take a punt and get them and if I couldn't get them to fit I would sell them on with hopefully not too much of a loss. I decided to fit the left hand side first as I thought it would be the easiest and after a bit of faffing and cutting to get the Demon Tweeks rods to the right length it went on a treat. No for the trouble side. These rearsets came with a micro switch for the brake light and it was a simple job to solder it on and all is good. Then came the fun bit of doing the brake bits. The fluid reservoir should fit on the longer top bolt without the original bracket and that's that but as I have to awkward C-ABS version there is no room so after I little bit of swearing and trying different positions I decided that the only solution is to leave it on its original bracket and make a couple of extenders and move it forward and down so it will clear the C-ABS thingies, sorry I will learn the component names one day, its all fitted and fine so I will get a couple of better bolts and paint the silver brackets black to hide it all and then that's it. They are a bit restrictive on the adjustment due to the short hose from the top to the master cylinder and it also will touch the exhaust if it goes back and down any further but maybe a racefit growler will solve this?????? 003.jpg 004.jpg 005.jpg 007.jpg 008.jpg
