I think this is a good move for him. On a decent bike again with good chances of being in the thick of it at the front of the grid. A previous vid of Gino: Gino Rea will be going for race wins and a Championship challenge with CIA Landlords Insurance Honda in the 2015 FIM Supersport World Championship. The 25-year-old Londoner is returning to WSS from Moto2 after a three-year break. A former WSS race winner and Moto2 podium finisher, he will be a force to be reckoned with right from the start of the season. Gino said: "Getting a competitive bike and team in any Championship is absolutely vital. I want to win races again, so I spoke with CIA Landlords Insurance Honda and we agreed terms very quickly. “We both share the same ambitions and that is to win races and a World Championship. I know how competitive the team is from racing against them in the past, so I'm confident that we can be at the front. “It's been a long time since I've ridden a World Supersport machine so I can’t wait to get on the bike in Australia. I am really looking forward to the challenge ahead. There are official DWO tests at Phillip Island on February 16th-17th before the first round starts on Friday 20th February with practice. There is practice and qualifying on Saturday 21st before the race starts at 1310 local time on Sunday 22nd February. Gino replaces Sheridan Morais in the CIA Landlords Insurance squad. The core team of Riccardo Russo, Martin Cardenas and Kieran Clarke will join Gino for the tests and race.
I was there at Almeria in 2012 when they filmed that....... it was just a £1500 CBR600 and he made it look easy....... Glad he's finally getting a decent ride...wish him well
I've been watching Gino for a while and I really believe that with the right bike he will really shine. He's struggled in Moto 2 with a bike that wasn't up to scratch but you have to admire his dedication with all the effort he put in to start and run his own team. I think him and Danny Buchan are the two British riders who will really shine in the next few years. I've got my money on Danny to really upset in BSB with a top 3 season finish (and maybe even the championship).
Also keep an eye out for Bradley Ray. Oops, just read he's signed to ride a Vyrus in moto2. Hope he doesn't regret it!
Sam Lowes has been putting in some great times today during practice, top 3 this year for sure imo...
Gino really didn't do much in Moto2 at all which was a shame. Saying that he did break his foot at the Valencia test last year so that didn't help. This WSS deal was only done a few weeks ago wasn't it? Sam Lowes was on fire at Valencia. He was really riding well. The bike this year has some nice changes and hopefully he will do well this season. Hope it continues Tuesday in Jerez for the next test. Got lots of pics to sort and upload from the tests so far.
WP make suspension for a lot of bikes. They are well liked but little known in the racing series. I'm sure BladeRR8 had a WP shock available last week for our Blade

Don't want to go off topic any more lol but its making waves this year. And rightly so, amazing suspension thats getting a lot of good feed back and man does it look great!! They have a large presence this year, even had the factory guys there with their artic support team!!
Have got to say - Gino's riding style on this supersport bike is mega, a real joy to watch. Kyle Smith's style is pretty awesome also.
