I have just bought a used, but in great condition GIPro gear indicator (thanks JD) works like a charm, but here is my fitting story lol These things are real easy to fit, if you know where the DLC is? but after spending bloody ages taking bits off the back of my bike (because I heard it was under the seat)and pulling my bloody hair out trying to find that damn red connector I finally remembered the Haynes Manual I had got from Carl (thanks mate) only to find that on RR4-RR7 it has it under the left fairing right at the front of the bike lol, and then only took 10 mins to fit What a tw*t I am ........message to self, if you have a Haynes manual, use the damn thing looks great though, and works well Simon
Hi Simon, wondered where you have been the last few weeks, in the garage I see ? I have a Acuman gear indicator that works fine, I had to hard wire it in, taking a solder iron to a brand new bike was a bit extreme though, I hear the GP pro is very good, I take a look when your out and about. Pleases the manual came in handy, I have full workshop manual on a PDF somewhere I'll dig it out for you.
Yeah Carl it felt like weeks lol ;-) read so many people going on about the dlc being under the seat that I didn't even think about checking the manual, but it seems that must be newer blades? Yeah will show you it next time you out
Yea the DLC connector can be a bitch, even on my 11 reg blade I knew th area but still tool me a hour of removing and looking for it. Well worth it once fitted
