    Hello fellow blade riders ..

After being flabbergasted by the cost of tail tidies and other bits like this ..

I've been out and consulted a few people I know who fabricate stuff .. and as such .. I've decided that if I could make one .. cheaply .. I might as well make many .. add a good quality LED indicator kit to it .. get the ally powder coated (or tough painted) and sell them on eBay at a REASONABLE profit. Like a £10 a go profit .. not the obvious 80% hike the others are making .. I've got a 3D design on the go too ..

This is the info I need first off ..

My blade's R&G tail tidy was bolted by means of four screws to a square pedestal design on the undertray .. is this an R&G config or standard Honda for my year?

When you remove the standard plough, it leaves 3 holes. 2 at the rear and 1 further forward

Good idea mate, good luck with the project.

Don't forget to make the indicator wiring long enough to go right into the tail piece to pick up the loom, rather than that shitebox design by R&G with those crap screws that just round off.

These needs looking at .. I need to look at the standard blade .. it appears my four screw pedestal design might be part of an R&G undertray too ?

Got to admire your statement of £10 profit per unit, do you really think it's worthwhile running like that ? Reckon if you were on Dragons Den I'd be out !
With all the time it's going to take doing trial items prototypes & the manufacturing process & costs etc that's a very slim margin £10

Pave the way for me to be slated !!
I'd have loved a cheaper tail tidy than my £82 R&G , wasn't much choice btw so there's deffo a market for a bit cheaper item if you can undercut the big boys and make it work
