Weird question but does the colour on the front fork legs mean anything? I've got an 08 Blade and the fork legs are gold. Doesnt appear to be a common colour as most are black. I've had 3 blades - 09, 14 and 17. The 09 and 14 MY both had black front forks. This one has got GOLD - see pic Does this mean anything? I know some people (track) swapped 2012 onwards forks onto 08 models. Anyway i can tell? I know this bike has been tracked previously - pitting and rash in places - plus a fork adjuster on the top.
Can you show a picture of the top of the forks? I'm wondering if they are standard or not. (the bottom of the forks look like standard Fireblade items - so I don't think they are swapped from another bike) Looks as though someone has had them refurbished/re-plated at some point in its life. Not a bad thing.
