Just seen your post on the eBay thread, so it is that AR exhaust.
You did check that it is definitely for the 14/15 down pipes didn't you ?
Bargain if it is, they are really pricey new.
Does it have the carbon panel ?

That is a great price Sam, they are normally £850 delivered without the panel.
I didn't think there was a link pipe either.,
I thought it went straight into the headers.

Yes there is link pipe on the 14/15 bikes if your going for the nomal or high level pipes... 14/15 bikes have cat pre exhaust silencer! .... The OD on the pipe is a lot bigger as it exits the cat hence why 08/13 plate bikes won't fit 14/15...

And if you want my advice don't even bother with the AR panel!! It's rubbish.... Just spend the extra money and get a carbon racefit with a proper bracket!! .... Trust me I learnt the hard way

Just the panel Sam ..... No issues with the pipe other than being extremely loud, and if your really brave you can remove the big baffle in the long pipe.... It will make your ears bleed and small children will be traumatised .... Hence why I pulled mine out!!!... Sounds more like Moto GP bike....

It's a very loud exhaust. I was one of the first to get hold of one. On idle it reads around 108db! With just the log baffle in. I think it sounds awful with it out its way too loud but that's just personal taste. Definitely do not get the panel form AR they are an awful fit. Not sure on the price of £800 for it I only paid 600 and that was with the crappy panel

My brother has this can on his BMW and its not all that loud...he's done track days no issues either...

Also the modes on his bike seemed to have made it less noisy...

    From AR Site:

Like the GP2 it uses internal baffling to allow you to control db levels from 102 to 110 plus-LOUD!

    So need a baffle!

Hoping i have not made a mistake...

The BMW has a massive silencer box under the bike so an aftermarket can does not make it loads louder.

The Honda with standard exhaust removed is basically straight through, it will be loud, like an elephant farting down a drainpipe !

@SimonT he had a load of back and forth with AR regarding db levels and how to control them with certain baffles. I believe he had about 3 different baffles from AR to ensure the noise levels could be kept down (for track days) but they didn't seem to make enough difference.

Let us know what you think when you receive it... its loud. I expect it to be much like the Racefit Growler in terms of noise levels, which are one of the loudest exhausts I know (and have owned!)

    The AR looks great though!
