Hello all, I've been looking at getting a gopro camera for a road trip to Germany at the end of may and was wondering how you guys/gals mount it to your bikes, any advice on mounting e.g helmet mount, chest mount or on the tank would be good

Here's mine.....camera attached to arm then to telferizer mount on bike.

i do use a slightly longer arm for forward filming but have played around with this smaller one for posey GP style filming.....mounting at different positions on bike....... fully versatile as many angles are acheivable with these style mounts....

Nice vid si, the stelvio pass looks amazing, want to plan a trip there next year. Do you get a lot of wind buffering from the camera?

I like the ram mount position too but would have to look at removing the h.e.s.d cover

Only at silly speeds on the autobahn..... Upto 120mph it's ok.

Whose got the Camera mounted right up front on the fairing just below the lights?

    I'm sure I've seen a pic on the Touring/Luggage thread...............................Remel is it?

We got one mounted to a light cover, also got 2 contours and mount them to the side of the bike, one looking front, one looking back. Brilliant for when some someone goes hedge cutting :D

My forward mount is on nose cone center line below lights, then on rear bolt to Ventura rail.

Pre Ventura I had a mount on end of tail section with a 90' turn obviously.

I stick mine on the crown for maximum visibility + a £2 mic into the helmet which kills a lot of the wind noise.
    Here's what it looks like:

    I have a few.

I strapped this Motrax mount on my mates tail section.

Taped this minicam on my crash bung.

And this regular camcorder on a £30 ebay tank mount.

Ive also got some ball mounts similar to RAM with flat bases, but have to work out where i can fit them.

I also have a rear mounting point for the Chinese MiniCam and have settled on which camcorder to use on my tank mount.
