I need a grab rail, well not me really, but my pillion does Does anyone have any experience of the Renntec ones on eBay? (or any affiliated sellers on this forum!) Any other suggestions would be great, I don't mind spending a little more on something that's more practical/comfortable/hard wearing - if they exist.
I've got the renntec sports rack which is essentially the grab rail with a rack on the back for luggage. The rack performs and fits well,although i dont use it as a pillion grab rail but to attach my kriega luggage to,which it excels at. Got mine from Demon Tweeks,give Andy a phone or message him in the forum section and he'll sort you out.
I have a tank mounted pillion handle that bolts to the petrol filler cap, much better than a rear grab handle and the passenger feels more comfortable and safer. Will post a photo and link later if I can find one as bought from hein gericke before they went belly up

how about the ventura system they have grab rails on the sports rack and just grab rails on their own ??
Just about to sing the praises on Venture gear too, have the various kit so can have grab handle, handle and small rack for small Venture bag when daughter on the back and take a fleece if she gets cold or bad weather gear or larger rack which can take two large bags for touring. So versatile and just buy the extra bits if and when need them. Perfect
I have my wife as pillion quite often. I have Kreiga R35 which she uses to the hip straps to hang on with. Quite happy with both twisties and 'motorway' speeds
