Well what a great day at Oulton Park today it was my first time at a BSB event. One of the reasons i went was to try to get Steve Brogan to sign a new seat cowl i had as my last one is damaged i thought it would be a real hassle ,well it could not of been any easier within 5 minutes of me arriving he had signed it and had a picture with it.See below. I then walked round the corner and bumped in to the legend himself John McGuiness. I went to the toilet and who was next to me Alex Lowes thought it wasnt the best place to shake his hand though. Great day and i am going back tommorow for race day Alex Lowes got pole so could be his first victory in BSB,he set a new evo lap record today at Oulton park 1.34 something I also noticed Scooby mates Broome racing had a bike in the superstock 1000.
Nice one Jason if you hang around the back of the trucks near the pits you will catch them bobbing in and out .
I was there also stalking i saw most of them i was amazed the easy access you had to them all more than happy to stop for a photo etc,saw Mr Rutter grey hair an all, also Steve Plater. Feel sorry for Ryuichi Kiyonai, Alex Lowes teammate he was getting a right slating from the radio presenters,the same bikes and Alex lowes sets a new lap record and the other guy did crap. Tell you who i was impressed with Jenny Tinmouth racing in BSB my god she can hold her own also the fastest Women TT rider. Very tempted to buy a signed/framed picture of Marc Marquez that i saw,got a nice tt legends fleece for the scotland trip also.
I know going to get some Venture shield on it but well chuffed as the photo with it was never even on my mind at the start of the day.
